Privacy Policy
Effective 23 May 2026
This policy describes what information MiniGames ("we", "the app") collects when you use the iOS app, Android app, or website, and how we handle it. We try to keep this short and honest.
What we collect
MiniGames does not require an account, and we do not ask you for any personal information. The app collects three kinds of data:
- Anonymous gameplay analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to record events such as which game was opened, when it ended, and when the feed was swiped. Firebase Analytics also collects standard technical information including device type, operating system, app version, approximate location derived from IP address, and a randomly generated installation identifier. We do not link any of this to your name, email, or other identifying information.
- Advertising identifiers. The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), IP address, and interactions with ads (such as views and taps) to serve and measure ads. On iOS, the system will ask for your permission before accessing the IDFA — you can decline without affecting gameplay.
- Local preferences on your device. The app stores a couple of small flags in your browser or app storage so it can remember whether sound is muted and whether you have seen the swipe hint. These never leave your device.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
- We do not collect precise GPS location.
- We do not access your photos, microphone, or camera.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
How we use the data
Gameplay analytics are used only to understand which games people enjoy, to find and fix bugs, and to decide what to build next. Ad-related data is processed by Google AdMob to serve ads and measure their performance; we do not use it for any other purpose.
Advertising
MiniGames shows interstitial and rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob. These ads help keep the app free. AdMob may personalise ads based on your advertising identifier and prior ad interactions unless you opt out. You can control ad personalisation at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track", or go to Settings → [your name] → Privacy → Advertising and enable "Limit Ad Tracking".
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
- Web: Visit adssettings.google.com to manage your Google ad preferences.
Opting out does not remove ads from the app; it means ads will no longer be personalised to your interests.
Service providers
We use the following Google services as sub-processors:
- Firebase Analytics — gameplay and usage analytics.
- Google AdMob — in-app advertising.
- Cloud Firestore — anonymous user progress storage.
All are governed by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Children's privacy
MiniGames is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can stop all analytics collection by uninstalling the app or, in a browser, by clearing site data for the MiniGames domain. To opt out of personalised ads, follow the steps in the Advertising section above. Because we do not maintain user accounts, there is no profile for us to delete on request — analytics events are anonymous.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
